NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
Northampton is a very old and historical town with lots of history and places to visit and is one of the largest towns in England.
It is in the county of Northamptonshire, in the East Midlands and is 60 miles (97 km) north-west of London and 50 miles (80 km) south-east of Birmingham, It borders onto Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland..
Because Northampton is central in the country, it has really good link to all the major roads and you can virtually get to anywhere in the country from Northampton.
It has it's own railway station and operates a regular train service from London Euston and Birmingham New Street. There are plenty of taxi's outside the train station.
The nearest airports are Luton, Birmingham, and East Midlands.
